Hailing from the Western Cape of South Africa, Christoff Theunissen is an amateur landscape and nature photographer based in Cape Town and Pringle Bay. With a keen eye for detail, colour, textures and contrast, his aim is to transport the viewers of his photographs to the locations they were taken at, with a touch of drama and dreaminess added for effect.
Having developed and nurtured his passion for nature, especially the sea and all things maritime from an early age, his passion has always been with the sea and seascapes, followed by mountains and recently, the night skies. Combining seascapes with mountains and the night sky is the ultimate thrill for him.
Apart from spending quality time with his family and loved ones at home, he is most alive exploring both new and familiar places outdoors, learning new skills with his camera and honing those skills he has acquired already.
