A cloudy sky and dark ocean set the backdrop for the magical and magnificent. Cape towns own 12 apostles. The peaks resemble a row of apostles, with each peak standing distinctively, like figures in a religious group. These are seen left side.

The range is part of the Table Mountain National Park and stretches from the end of the Table Mountain plateau to Llandudno. The photo offers a striking view along the Atlantic coastline and the cut away sweeping winding road that takes one to Llandudno on the right.

The name was likely given by early European settlers or explorers who saw a resemblance to a group of apostles. The peaks are now a popular hiking and sightseeing destination.
