Imagine you're or at sea on a yacht just a few nautical miles north of Cape Town. This mobile phone photo was surprisingly, taken at sea with rolling waves and wind. Mobile phone camera technologies are growing rapidly.
The viewer is taken on a sensual visual journey starting with the iconic classic wide shot allowing a full view of Table Mountain.
The eyes stop at the flat top with the cable car station to the right. Then the viewer is taken to see Devil's Peak on the far left and then all the way right across to Signal Hill and Lions Head.
The city scape is also clear and takes the viewer from the far left high rise buildings going right past the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront to the iconic Cape Town Stadium and trendy beachfront area of Greenpoint.
It's impossible to get all of this in one photo unless by boat or by air.
